You can track your progress and see how many more penguins you must find, plus share your photos in our gallery from your unforgettable day out.

App features

  • Find Sculptures

    Pinch and swipe the map to zoom in and out. Location settings need to be turned ON to see your location on the map. Or visit the sculptures tab and search for the sculpture name or artist.

  • Collect rewards

    When you collect sculptures, by entering the 4-digit code found on the plaque, you’ll collect exciting rewards along the way! There are also stars available when you complete certain milestones. 

  • Track your progress

    Track your progress around the trail. See how many sculptures, rewards and milestones you’ve collected. Plus you can see the most voted-for and most collected sculptures across the entire trail.

  • Share your memories

    Upload your photos to our public photo gallery. Your photo will be seen by other app players and can be shared on social media. So, get creative and share your favourite moments from the trail! Images uploaded will be vetted by the team before being published.

App FAQs

We’ve answered some of the most popular questions we get asked regarding our app below. If you’re having problems with the app, please let us know by messaging our app support team.

  • Search for ‘Waddle on Sea’ in the app store, alternatively, click here for the Apple App Store or Google Play. 

  • Check you’re connected to the internet, either WiFi or a mobile network, then please try again. If you are still having a problem, please make sure you have the latest update installed on your device. Close the app completely and re-open it (or restart your device).

  • Log out via the menu in the top left and log in again, this usually resolves the issue. If not, close the app completely and re-open it (or restart your device).

  • Log out of the app and then log back in again. To log out click on the menu icon in the top left-hand corner and then log out is available at the bottom of the menu.

  • Use the map; pinch and swipe the map to zoom in and out. Location settings on your phone need to be turned ON to see your location on the map. Or go to the sculptures tab to access the sculpture listings and search for the sculpture name, artist or location.

  • There is a 4-digit code found on the sculpture plaque. Click COLLECT + and enter the number. You have now collected that sculpture and if you’re lucky, you may have collected a reward at the same time.

  • You can upload a photo to the app gallery by clicking Upload on the sculpture page. You’ll be asked to either take a photo or choose from the library. Images uploaded will be vetted by the team before being published on the app. Your photo will be seen by other app players and could be shared on social media. So, get creative!

  • If you’ve already collected a sculpture the app will display an incorrect code message. Check your sculpture listing pages to see if you have already collected it.
