Lucy, also known as Lucy Loves Design, is a surface pattern and printed textile designer. She develops her artwork into digital patterns for fashion, interiors, stationery, and wallcoverings. In 2021, she discovered a new canvas for her creations when she began painting her designs on giant sculptures.
ABOUT THE SCULPTURE
This penguin is inspired by the wild flowers growing in and around Southend. Covered in forget-me-nots, periwinkles, bellflowers and anemones, it will remind viewers of the lovely surrounding Essex countryside.
