ABOUT THE SCULPTURE
“Storms Pass” is inspired by the quote, “Stop trying to calm the storm. Calm yourself. The storm will pass.” The sculpture conveys a positive message through its depiction of a baby penguin caught in a blizzard of emotions. As viewers move around, the storm gradually subsides, revealing the tranquil Northern Lights, and the penguin finds peace with its mother, symbolising co-regulation.
