Angus is an independent 8-Bit artist who specialises in tiles, coins, and Lego. Since 2015, he has self-taught his practice without formal art training. His distinctive, tongue-in-cheek style draws inspiration from retro arcade games and people in his life. Angus creates unique work for sculpture trails, galleries, and street exhibitions, bringing nostalgic flair and creativity to the public art scene.
ABOUT THE SCULPTURE
Sir Waddle-a-Lot is made entirely out of UK-circulated coins, including 1p pieces, 2p pieces, 5p pieces and 10p pieces to cover every inch of his body, from beak to tail. The hard- wearing durability of using smooth metal coins means it will last a lifetime. He will shine day or night, in any light.
