The sculpture is a tribute to both the spirit of Southend and the transformative impact of hospice care in the community.

Charlie Stafford is a professional artist with over eight years’ experience in the creative industry. She regularly lectures at universities and produces bespoke commissions for both local and international businesses. Her artistic inspiration is rooted in regenerative, sustainable practices and nurturing future creatives. Charlie aims to convey hope and emotion through her designs, creating meaningful connections between the artwork and its audience.
